My Mission...

My mission philosophy for ReGifting Nature is to combine my love of social work and the process of creating and reusing nature within a vessel / container. Embracing nature in this way nurtures one's mental well being and physical health while designing something beautiful from nature for all to enjoy.

Vessels of Grace

Vessel: 1. A hollow or concave utensil for holding anything; a hollow receptacle; as a hog head, barrel, bottle, kettle, cup, bowl. 2. a vessel is any structure, esp. a hollow one, made to float upon the water for navigation.  3. Hence, any various types of air craft.  4. A person regarded in scriptural language as one into whom something is poured, infused as a vessel of grace.

A vessel can be manipulated, tied up with,  or gently pieced together to contain one piece within another piece of nature…Dig a hole in the sand, mud, moss, dry clay to make a container. A bird's nest is a beautifully made vessel to contain a living growing bird within an egg. We have all held a shell to our ear to listen to the "ocean." A  container can hold a formed object, sound, wind, smells.... all of our senses!
